Through BACA-CDC's Diaper Bank Program reading books are distributed to all of its youth and adult clientele.  We encourage parents to start reading to their babies at birth.  We believe that "Diaper Time is Talk Time".  Early Childhood Learning should begin at the start of birth to age 08 which is crucial to a child's development...

Positive Development

Positive Youth Development contributes to a young person's social skills, self esteem, family, community, and prepares them for civil society.
BACA-CDC strongly encourages arts-n-craft in addition to play learning using puzzles to help assist a child's emotional, cognitive and physical skills.  Starting these techniques at an early age builds their literacy skills into adulthood...

BACA's "2020" Youth Holiday Outreach Project 
"Due to the Covid -19 Pandemic we could not receive all children"


A "Special Thanks" to the City of Philadelphia - 3rd District Councilwoman Jamie Gauthier and Staff, Toys for Tots, Mitzvah Foundation, and Drexel's AEL who all pitched in to assisted Belmont Alliance Civic Association (BACA)-CDC.  Multiple families received Toys, New Clothes for the children, Socks, Infant/Toddler Diapers, Personal Care items, School Supplies, and Books so they could have happy holiday.  Due to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic which placed a burden on so many families across this nation this year, and left parents wondering how to pay their bills or rent plus put a gift under the tree for the child / children.  Our collaborations and/or partnerships allows BACA-CDC to provide outreach like this each year just to see a smile on the parents faces during tough times...
