The B.A.C.A. Diaper Bank is set up to assist Low Income families by donating one pack of diapers per child each month to help fill the gap when disposable diapers are needed while you're waiting to gain funds.  We have also recognized that each day so many children suffer and are treated for Diaper Rash and by having additional diapers on hand will help eliminate that problem.  B.A.C.A. believes that our disposable Diaper donation given to qualifying families will fill that gap...

Q.  What Verification Will I Need to Qualify for Service?

             You Must -

        1.  Live within Philadelphia County

        2.  Show a PA State Photo Identification (Parent/Custodian)

        3.  Qualify as Low Income (see Government Poverty Guidelines)

        4.  Income Verification Required (Pay Stubs/Compass Printout or SSI or SSD)

        5.  Verify that you are the parent of the child or children by providing:  

                          a.)  Medical Card or

                          b.)  Birth Record from the Hospital or

                          c.)  PA State Issued Birth Certificate 


Q.  How often will I have to show Income Verification?

      A.) Once every three (3) months 

 ** (Example)  You applied in January - Aptil you must show income verification to re-new**


Q.  How Often Can I Gain A Donation?

      A). Once a Month

Q. What Type of Donation will I recieve?

      A). Your Supplement Donation of One Pack of Diapers Per Child Per Month


Q.  Is There A Fee for the Service?

      A).  No


Q.  What Size Diapers do you offer?

      A).  Sizes: 1 / 2 / 3 and 4 (Only)


Q.  Can I Get My Diapers Delivered?

     A). No Deliveries - You Must Pick them Up When Available By Appointment


Q.  Do I Need A Referral?

     A). In Some Cases - If An Agency or Medical Clinic or Shelter Provided You   

           With An Application - the Referred Person Must Fill Out the Agency



Q.  Can I Gain Service Without A Referral?

      A).  Yes - You Must Qualify To Gain Service


Q.  Can My Donation be Revoked?

     A). Yes - If You Miss Picking Up Your Donation Three (3) Consecutive Times  

            Without Contacting Us - Your Name will be removed from the list.

      B). Your Financial Status Changes and you are No Longer Consider Low-income

         C).   If the program comes to an end and we no longer receive donations


Q.  Can I recieve Diapers before my Baby is Born?

        A).  No - Your Baby Must be Born and have a Birth Certificate or a Hospital

               Record that's provided to you from the Hospital after the baby is born,  

               to be eligible.


Q.  What Days and Time Can I Pick Up a Donation After I qualify?

                          Monday:        (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

                          Tuesday:        (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) 

                          Wednesday:   (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) 


Q.  What Days and Time Can I request Informatin or Make An Appointment?

       A).  Monday - Tuesday and Wednesday (Only)

               Hours - (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

A.  See the Federal Poverty Guideline Chart below for your household
